IGH’s first phase provides 188 licensed inpatient beds: 36 critical care beds (ICU, CCU and isolation), 12 oncology beds, 130 medical and surgical beds, and 10 private and VIP suites, supported by 10 operating rooms and 38 specialty clinics equipped with advanced medical technology and diagnostics.
The hospital is fully digital from day one, with an integrated electronic medical record, AI-enhanced diagnostics, a Tier III data centre, and smart hospital infrastructure. International and best practice standards are embedded in every process, and a dedicated training academy will develop the clinical and operational talent the hospital needs.
Built around clinical excellence, patient experience, and a continuum of care, and working with insurers and third-party administrators through direct billing partnerships, IGH aims to become Iraq’s leading patient-centred medical institution and to reduce the need for patients to seek treatment abroad.
